Und sie schreit ihre Botschaft in die Welt hinaus: &#8220;Lasst uns \u00fcber AIDS reden, das Thema ist wichtig!&#8221;<br>Wir kl\u00e4ren, woher die AIDS Schleife kommt, welche Ziele sie verfolgt und welchen Veranstaltungen das Thema AIDS am Herzen liegt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">AIDS Schleife: ihre Geburtsstunde<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Bilder sagen mehr als tausend Worte. Und so hat sich auch f\u00fcr das Thema AIDS ein Symbol entwickelt &#8211; die rote Schleife (auch: Red Ribbon, AIDS Schleife). Doch wie ist es dazu gekommen?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wir schreiben das Jahr <strong>1991<\/strong>. Damals kam die K\u00fcnstlergruppe Visual AIDS (New York) auf die Idee, ein Symbol f\u00fcr AIDS bzw. den Kampf gegen diese Krankheit zu entwickeln. Das war die <strong>Geburtsstunde der AIDS Schleife<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ihre <strong>Ziele<\/strong>? Ein deutliches<strong> Zeichen zu setzen<\/strong> f\u00fcr:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>mehr Toleranz<\/li><li>mehr Solidarit\u00e4t<\/li><li>weniger Ausgrenzung<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1992 <\/strong>packte die AIDS Schleife dann ihre Koffer und reiste nach Europa. Hilfe hatte sie dabei von <strong>Freddy Mercury<\/strong>, der in diesem Jahr ein <strong>Konzert<\/strong> gespielt hat, das <strong>im Zeichen der AIDS-Thematik<\/strong> stand. Er wollte mit seinem Konzert auf diese Krankheit aufmerksam machen &#8211; und hatte Erfolg. W\u00e4hrend des Konzertes wurden nicht nur \u00fcber 100.000 Schleifen verteilt, auch \u00fcber eine Milliarde Zuschauer sahen das Konzert per Fernseher. Das Kofferpacken hatte sich f\u00fcr die Schleife also gelohnt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Doch damit nicht genug. <strong>Am selben Tag<\/strong> im Jahr 1992 gr\u00fcndete sich auch die Organisation <strong>RED RIBBON INTERNATIONAL<\/strong>. Foto: Adobe Stock (c) Chris Titze Imaging<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">AIDS Schleife: Wo wird sie eingesetzt und wo kann ich sie bekommen?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Die AIDS Schleife sieht man immer mal wieder auf <strong>Plakaten<\/strong>. Und wenn man <strong>Google<\/strong> Bilder anschmei\u00dft und nach ihr sucht, erst recht. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Doch sie wird auch in sehr viel <strong>physischerer Form<\/strong> eingesetzt, vor allem bei <strong>Veranstaltungen<\/strong>. Dort wird sie unter den Veranstaltungsteilnehmern verteilt. Aber auch in <strong>Kinos<\/strong> und bei <strong>Konzerten<\/strong> bis hin zu schicken <strong>Gala-Abenden<\/strong> kann man sie immer mal wieder finden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dabei ist die AIDS Schleife meistens <strong>kostenlos<\/strong>, es wird aber um eine <strong>freiwillige Spende<\/strong> gebeten. Diese hilft den Organisationen, ihre Arbeit weiterhin so gut aus\u00fcben zu k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dich interessiert das Thema und du m\u00f6chtest ebenfalls mehr Bewusstsein daf\u00fcr schaffen? Und daf\u00fcr brauchst du eine Schleife? Es steht aber in deiner N\u00e4he keine Veranstaltung an, bei der du eine Schleife bekommen k\u00f6nntest? <br>Dann gibt es ein paar <strong>Online-Shops<\/strong>, die die <strong>AIDS Schleife zum Verkauf<\/strong> anbieten. In Deutschland liegen die Rechte bei der Deutschen AIDS-Stiftung.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Welt-AIDS-Tag (01.12.): der bekannteste Tag<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Beim Thema AIDS bzw. HIV besteht leider immer noch <strong>viel Unwissenheit<\/strong>. Zum Beispiel dahingehend, dass diese beiden Begriffe keine Synonyme sind. Wenn du dich jetzt selbst dabei ertappst, dass du dir &#8220;Was? Sind sie nicht&#8230;?&#8221; denkst, interessiert dich vielleicht unser Artikel <span style=\"color:#f60cd7\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.herold.at\/blog\/hiv-aids\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HIV\/AIDS: What the hell\u2026?<\/a><\/span> <span class=\"has-inline-color has-blue-color\">. In die<\/span>sem behandeln wir u. a. genau diese Begriffsunterschiede.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aber zur\u00fcck zum Thema: Durch Unwissenheit entsteht oft Diskriminierung, mit der HIV-positive Menschen Tag f\u00fcr Tag leben. Der Welt-AIDS-Tag steht daher im Zeichen der <strong>Aufkl\u00e4rung<\/strong>, des <strong>Bewusstseins<\/strong> und der <strong>Solidarit\u00e4t<\/strong> mit den betroffenen Personen. <strong>&#8220;Steh zu mir&#8221; ist hier also die Aussage der Schleife.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Au\u00dferdem dient dieser Tag der <strong>Erinnerung<\/strong>: Der Erinnerung an die Menschen, die aufgrund der HIV-Infektion bzw. ihren Folgen gestorben sind. <strong>&#8220;Vergissmeinnicht&#8221; ist hier also die Aussage der Schleife.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Doch der Welt-AIDS-Tag hat noch eine dritte Funktion. Bildbearbeitung: HEROLD Business Data<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Seit 1988 <\/strong>ist der <strong>01.12.<\/strong> eines jeden Jahres also genau der Tag, an dem auf all diese Aspekte hingewiesen wird. Der Tag, an dem die AIDS Schleife ihre Koffer packt und um die Welt zieht. \u00dcbrigens: Sie macht auch am \u00f6sterreichischen Parlament Halt. Denn dort h\u00e4ngt jedes Jahr am 01.12. eine riesige rote Schleife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sonstige Veranstaltungen (Awareness)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Hey, Moment mal!&#8221;, sagt uns jetzt unsere AIDS Schleife, &#8220;Ich liege doch den Rest des Jahres auch nicht auf der faulen Haut!&#8221; Und damit hat sie Recht. Denn der <strong>Welt-ADIS-Tag ist nicht der einzige Tag<\/strong>, an dem es um genau dieses Thema geht, auch wenn es das Event ist, das wahrscheinlich alle zuerst im Kopf haben. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hier findet ihr <strong>weitere Veranstaltungen<\/strong> die (auch) im Zeichen der Krankheit AIDS stehen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>15.10.<\/strong> National Latinx AIDS Awareness Day: Es geht um HIV und die lateinamerikanische\/hispanische Bev\u00f6lkerung in den Vereinigten Staaten.<\/li><li><strong>18.09.<\/strong>: National HIV\/AIDS &amp; Aging Awareness Day: Ein besonderer Fokus liegt auf den Herausforderungen, denen sich \u00e4ltere HIV-Infizierte stellen m\u00fcssen.<\/li><li><strong>Juli<\/strong>: Christopher-Street-Day (CSD): Hier sind auch oft AIDS Hilfen vertreten.<\/li><li><strong>27.06.<\/strong>: National HIV Testing Day: Menschen sollen dazu angeregt werden, HIV-Tests zu machen.<\/li><li><strong>10.03.:<\/strong> National Women and Girls HIV\/AIDS Awareness Day: Der Fokus liegt auf Frauen und M\u00e4dchen.<\/li><li>u. s. w.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Auch <strong>Aktionen, <\/strong>zeitlich<strong> <\/strong>rund um den Welt-AIDS-Tag, behandeln das Thema AIDS:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Laserinstallationen <\/li><li>\u00d6ffis&nbsp;tragen F\u00e4hnchen mit der roten Schleife\/dem Logo einer&nbsp;AIDS-Hilfe auf ihren Waggons.<\/li><li>unterschiedliche Spendensammlungen<\/li><li>Stra\u00dfenfeste (organisiert von AIDS Hilfen)<\/li><li>30.11.: meist 15 Veranstaltungen an verschiedenen Locations; organisiert vom Verein LIFE+ (einer der Gr\u00fcnder ist Gery Keszler)<\/li><li>Versteigerung von Kleidern im 50er-Jahre-Stil<\/li><li>Restaurants, die rote Speisen und Specials anbieten<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Oder lieber eine <strong>Kampagne<\/strong>&#8230;?:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Eh klar, ich mache einen HIV-Test! Du auch?<\/li><li>#einfachtesten<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Aktionen und Kampagnen finden nat\u00fcrlich meist nicht so regelm\u00e4\u00dfig statt, wie gro\u00dfe Veranstaltungen. Du siehst aber bereits, <strong>wie viel zu dem Thema gemacht wird<\/strong>.
